Today, October 22, the AlFellini Cinema in Grottaferrata hosted the premiere of the short film "Apollo and Dafne's Story Retelling," produced with the free patronage of the Municipality of Grottaferrata.
A project born from an interdisciplinary educational laboratory that transforms Ovid's Metamorphoses into a profound reflection on the themes of CONSENT and of the RESPECT.
A horizontal, inclusive, and participatory learning model, where every child was able to express their voice and creativity.
«"Ours is a teaching model that puts children at the center, transforming diversity into a fundamental resource."» — he underlined Antonio Chimento, President of Capodarco Formazione Social Enterprise, opening the event.
The words of the protagonists
The words of the film's protagonists are touching:
Olga M. (Daphne nymph): «"A journey with significant educational and social value. We were active participants, collaborating through art and demonstrating that diversity is enrichment."»
Sara MP (Dafne tree): «"To this day, consensus is still not guaranteed for everyone. Looking at the myth helps us understand the source of ignorance and selfishness, so we can finally eradicate violence and disregard for the will of others."»
The students of the school participated with great enthusiasm in the screening. CFP Grottaferrata, their parents, together with the students and teachers of the Cicero of Frascati, of the S. Giuseppe Art High School and some realities like the family home Bread and Roses, And Mosaic Estate.
After the film, the audience engaged in an intense and emotional debate full of questions and discussions.
